Great bike for my 5 y.o.

I got this bike for my daughter for Christmas. Love everything about it except that it says "stinky kids" in several spots. I know thats the brand name, but i dont care for my girl riding on a bike that says stinky kids all over it. May cover up those words with stickers in the spring when she can ride it. I do love the seat for her doll and the colors are great.

Cute Bike!

My 3 1/2 year old daughter loves it! Great that it has a doll seat and basket. Everything was well made. A little bit complicated instructions (you have to find the type of bike you have, don't just start from the beginning). But we successfully put it together. We will see how well it rides this coming summer. This product also arrived in great time as predicted.

Stinky Bike

My daughter is thrilled with this Stinky Kids bike so maybe based on that it deserves a higher rating. It arrived with several paint chips and even rust on the neck. The hand operated U brakes were junk and impossible to get adjusted correctly so I removed them. They weren't necessary anyway due to the coaster brake. The stickers decorating the bike had loads of bubbles that just turned to wrinkles when attempting to fix. The bike came mostly assembled but the assembly instructions were terrible. If I hadn't had a little bike knowledge I would have struggled. And after days the bike still stinks. A horrible smell that I guess is from the plastics but can't be sure. It rides fine and she digs it but for $100 you'd think you would get a decent quality little kids bike.

Great bike for the price

Bike is well suited for girls 8+ years old. The bike uses alot of steel, so it is not very light, but I have a similar Diamondback bike of similar weight so I think it is typical for this price category.I found the bike easy to assemble, but requires some minor tuning of brakes, etc to ensure proper function.The bike is a very good value at this price.

This is a good quality tough bike. My 10 yr.old granddaughter love it. It was a very good deal, price and quality, shipping was in 2 days.I couldn't find a berry buy.

Not bad....daughter loves it.

This is not a bad bike at all for the price. Is it preassembled $400 local bicycle store bike for a kid? NO. Is it a great deal if you know even a smidgeon of bicycle mechanics? YES indeed.Had it out of the box and put together and rideable in less than 30-45 minutes (and a lot of that was going slow to not scratch it). All you have to do is remove some packing materials, put the front tire on, put the handlebars on, install the pedals, and check tire pressure. Then, a quick inspection of the shifting (fine), the brakes (just a bit of barrel adjustment at the levers), and the wheel alignment/trueness (slightly off, but not more than millimeter or two...which isn't worth adjusting on a kids bike).The grip shifters on this bike are the same that's on our really nice Trek tandem ($1200 originally), so it shifts pretty nice. Not too hard, not too easy. Maybe in a few years it'll be worthy of a couple upgrades as my kid grows to appreciate them....but for now, it's just awesome, she loves the color (lavender), and loves even more to ride it.

Although the bike is new there has been an issue with the manufacturer where the handlbar paint was knicked. Please see image #5. It only affect the aesthetics of the bike and not the functionality. Not all of them have these but please assume yours will have it. The bike will get pretty beat up anyways with your child falling and dropping it. Consider placing your favorite sticker over it if it bothers you. We are very sorry.

Daughter loves it

She has ridden a tricycle but never a biycle, she's always been scared of bikes. I filmed this just after my husband put it together for her (quick and easy). Since then she's balaned for quite some distance. Great product! I have no doubt it will make learning to ride a bike easier for her.

PERFECT bike for toddlers!

We purchased the Vilano No Pedal Push Balance Bicycle for Children, Green for our 2 year old son. Our son LOVES this bike. This bike is perfect for toddlers and kids learning to ride a bike. The height is adjustable which is wonderful for a growing child. The seat is very comfortable. No complaints about the structure. note: The wheels are plastic (In our terrain there are sticker burrs that get stuck in rubber tires and we prefer the plastic)The price is right and the shipping is fast. When we first received the bike it came with the wrong wheels (pink) but we wrote to the seller and a week later we have the correct wheels! One funny thing is the directions for bike assembly are incorrect. However, the bike is so easy to assemble that directions are not necessary. Awesome customer service! I would gladly buy from this company again.

Good little bike

We first bought a strider bike for one of our girls (4 yr. old) and loved it, but wanted to try something a little bit cheaper for the next bike (for our daughter who is almost 2 and she's pretty little). We bought this one and, like the other reviews stated, the instructions for THIS bike did not come with it. It came with instructions alright, but telling me how to "put on the training wheels" was not helpful. ;) It was pretty easy to put together though.The only complaint I have with this bike is that the seat does not go as low as the strider bikes. We bought this for our younger daughter and even with lowering the seat as low as it goes, she still couldn't reach the floor. We ended up having the girls trade bikes since the strider bike seat goes MUCH lower to the ground and she can ride that one. Our older daughter now uses this one and it works fine for her.Definitely would recommend these types of bikes for little kids! Our 4 year old is already riding thanks to learning to balance with these types of bikes.Basically- good bike, unless you have a little shorty- then pay a little more and go with the strider one instead.

Excellent Gift

We needed an 18 inch as he's not quite ready for the 20 inch but too big for the 16. He didn't need the training wheels. He loves the look of it, We love that it has both coaster and hand brakes to start that transition. Overall very happy with product, and a great deal.

Sprocket too small, chain falls off constantly

I missed returning this by the due date because of going into the hospital. Bike has been nothing but a problem. Sprocket too small, when peddling the chain just falls off. We have tried often to fix the issues at hand but to no avail. Garbage.

Wonderful Bike!

This bike came quickly and was very easy to put together, although the shipping costs were a little high (but worth it). The only thing is that we had a difficult time with the training wheels. So we bought new ones at HTO and they installed them for us.There are some very nice accessories to this bike but unfortunately they do not ship here to the US.My husband was not happy buying a bike made out of the US but so far we are pleased.
