Wee Ride Learn2Ride Balance Bike (10-Inch Wheels)
Product Description
Wee Ride Balance Bike - the same people that brought you the popular and innovative Kangaroo Center Mount Child Carrier have hit another home run with the new Wee Ride balance bike! This wonderful item looks just like a bicycle but without the crank and pedals and is designed to help your child learn the basics of balancing before graduating to pedaling, taking the frustration out of learning to ride a bicycle for both the child and parent! By using their feet to move the bike forward your child doesn't have to worry about pedaling while at the same time learning to feel the dynamics of balancing. The Wee Ride balance bike helps your child to concentrate on balance first, making learning how to ride a bike lots of fun! 10 inch wheels and an impressive 15 inch stand over clearance make this a perfect fit for most 4-6 year olds. No tools are needed to adjust the saddle height thanks to a quick release aluminum seat collar.

By KLS
This is the cheapest balance bike out there, and it's okay. I don't plan on it lasting long, but I paid under $30. It is a good metal frame, but the tires are not traditional rubber. They are plastic. The description on Amazon seems to be for a different bike however. This is a very small bike. I would put the age more from 2-4 years. It looked too small for my average-sized three year old at first. I raised the seat and handle bars and it will work for maybe a year or so before he out-grows it. Also, this description claims no tools needed to adjust saddle height. This is false. There is no lever or anything. You must unscrew and then retighten to raise or lower seat and handle bars. Overall, it will work for the price and my son is thrilled with it, but it's not the best one out there.

By RCWSO
One more person to add a complaint about having this item with a broken seat out of the box. The bottom of the seat is made of plastic and was jammed onto the metal seat post during manufacturing assembly which completely cracked the plastic seat connection. The seat itself has a padded area for your child to sit on but the actual frame of the seat is plastic. Terrible design. They advertise that it has 10" wheels. Sure, 10" wheels for the entire diameter, not the rim size which most wheels/tires are measured. I measured the rim size and they are 7" inches. Compared to the Strider, which I now own, it has 8" rims and a full diameter of 11". That may not seem like much but on a bike that small, side by side with the Strider, it is a difference. The wheel base of the Wee Ride is very small. 18" from axle to axle compared to 22" on the Strider. That is very significant on a bike this size. My child on the Wee Ride had his hands almost touching his knees when he would run around because the distance from the seat to the handlebars was so close due to the very short wheelbase. The distance from the middle of the handlebars to the middle of the seat is about 11" and on the Strider almost 13". Again, pretty significant on a bike that small and for little kids. The front wheel, out of the box, was completely warped. It wasn't even close to being round. It was not the rim but the actually hard foam tire that was not even round. It actually had a flat spot on portion. Ridiculous.Overall, this product is exactly what you pay for out of the box. Cheaply made, terrible manufacturing and down right ridiculous. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I am much happier with the Strider which out of the box is significantly better. Just picking it up and pushing it around you can tell a good product versus a product that is not.

By CMJ200027
We got this for our son's 2nd birthday, he rode it once and the seat broke! So we shipped it back and ordered another, for the price you cant go wrong! Next one the seat was cracked when we got it, but our son LOVED it so with the help of an $0.89 hose clamp from the local hardware store the seat hasnt come off again in over a year!He is almost ready for a small pedal bike so the balance bike has done its job and taught him balance before pedaling, why spend $100 on the stride when they dont use them that long! Just buy the hose clamp and be happy you saved $70!!!
