Bought one locally at a bike shop, brought it home had it assembled and tweaked in about an hour. My 12 year old loves it, fairly sturdy. Rims feel a little squishy to me, tighten spokes a bit to solve that problem. We like it enough going to order another from amazon (50 bucks cheaper) hopefully we wont have the shipping damage people have complained about. They are not for your novice or non-bike person to put together, you need to know what your doing or you will end up with a headache.

By Dad
Purchased this bike for my 8 yr old son. It was delivered on time but in the assembly process and then shortly after realized the contents were jammed so hard in the packaging the rear wheel was bent and the front brake assembly was bent also. I am taking the bike to local shop to see if they can fix the brake assembly and wheel. The wheel I am sure will be fine but the brake assembly probably needs to be replaced. Outside of those 2 issues it is a sharp looking bike that rides well.

By Cool_mom
We bought this bike for Christmas as an "Angel Tree" gift for an underprivileged child. I built it two days before the gift had to be delivered. Assembling this thing was an absolute nightmare. The instructions are generic, not specific to the bike, and very hard to follow. Honestly, if you really dislike someone, get their child this for Christmas so they have the "pleasure" of assembling it. At one point, in exasperation I even asked my wife to read them and tell me what I am doing wrong. She was completely clueless too.I spent 3-4 hours building this bike, with 90% of it trouble shooting on the rear brake, which was seemingly designed by Rube Goldberg. The rear brake has multiple cable sections interconnected by some contraption that lifts up underneath the handle bars. For the life of me, I can't figure out why they wouldn't just use a single cable like the front brake. Why re-invent the wheel, so to speak, especially if you are going to produce an EPIC FAIL?The back wheel rim seems to be slightly warped as well. The one pad slightly hits it depending on where the wheel is during a revolution. If I tried to give more space between the pads and the wheel rim, one of two things would happen ... either the brake wouldn't work at all/ hardly work or when the brake was engaged once the lever was let go, it wouldn't release on its own, with the result being that the brakes would stay slightly applied, unless you manually pushed the rear brake lever forward. The brake pads are not evenly spaced from the rear wheel either and there is no way to adjust the spacing (at least the instructions are completely silent about this (the instructions don't even show the actual brake mechanism of this model or describe how to adjust it as they are seemingly generic instructions and not specific to this model).Just complete aggravation. I would not recommend this bike to anyone. You could get a better quality bike, for a lot less $$ and aggravation at Walmart, pre-assembled.
