Very solid bike

We got this for our 4-year-old for Christmas. The bike was very easy to put together, though don't forget to have a pump on hand for the tires. The chain guard is really flimsy and rubs against the chain, but that's a relatively minor detail. I'd recommend this for any Cars-loving kid.For size recommendations, our 4-year-old is pretty tall, and the seat is almost all the way down for him to be comfortable.

I purchased a couple Huffy bikes for a Christmas angel program through my firm, and this one is particularly nice as little boy's bikes go. It has some tiny cones, a flag and decals in a front pack that affixes to the handlebars with velcro straps. The zipper was missing the piece to pull it, and a call to Amazon was sheer insanity. First, the guy wanted me to disassemble the bike and send it back for a new one. When I balked at that, the next bright "solution" was to send me a new one, have me take out the new bag, put this damaged one back in and cart it back to UPS. I don't have time for such nonsense, so while he was reading from an inane script, I was googling Huffy, and lo and behold, they have an 800 number for missing or damaged parts! Read the number on the bottom of the frame, and voila! A new bag will be arriving shortly.Amazon has to rethink their "solutions". What crazy remedies they offer! Someone at Amazon better get in the cost-benefit analysis business of figuring out elegant solutions to holiday shopping travails. Bike: 5 stars, Amazon customer support IQ: 0 stars, Huffy: 5 stars. Great company with proactive weblink! I will definitely buy Huffy bikes forevermore. What easy assembly and great followthrough customer service! BTW, it was super easy to assemble: basically, you need a multi-spin wrench to tighten the handlebars, seat, pedals, front wheel and training wheels onto the bike frame that comes with the rear wheel, chain and brakes already attached. There are two different sizes of bolts. Put the soft logo on the front with the bag, and you have a complete bike. You could do this in under a half hour's time. The seat even has a quick release clip for that growing boy. Very cute bike, and I'm sure the little one will enjoy making a race course with the cones, flag, and his brothers' assitance.
