great for tiny child

We purchased this bike at a garage sale, but it is the exact one pictured. Our smallest son (19m, who is very tall and light) greatly desires to ride a bike like his older brother. He is, however, too light for the majority of children's running bikes. When we ran across this one we were very excited because:-the extremely light frame allows this bike to be used by very light children. It is also short enough to allow tiny children to use it as a running/walking bike.-the pedals on the front wheel are to allow this bike to be ridden like a tricycle (which is why the manufacturer warns against removing the training wheels), and if your child isn't old enough to pedal, they can use the bike like a running bike because the pedals are out of the way and since the bike is short enough and light enough for that.-the training wheels lend stability to it, even as a walking/running bike for a very small child so it won't fall over on them while they are mounting and dismounting.-the twisting problem can be improved by tightening things, not eliminated. Not a big deal to us.For what we needed, it is a perfect match. It is not a good bike for a large child or for a child who wants to pedal fast like on a regular 2 wheel bike. Its a light bike for a very small child who wants to go forward on a bike which is small and light enough for them to use themself, and also to practice pedaling in a tricycle fashion.

Just like big bro and big sis my son liked this bike because it wasnt a tricycle he was 2.5 and it fit him perfect and price was the only thing i wouldnt pay over 30 for it

Someone Wasn't Thinkin'....

I received this as a gift for my little one's 2nd birthday,...she's three now and still can't ride it. I confirm every detail about this bike that Amazon Addict wrote. I've unfortunately found all of the same problems with it. I would definitely recommend staying away from this bike. Thankfully it was a gift and we didn't waste our money on it. If you're in the market for a bike/trike for your little one, check out the Radio Flyers, they're made really well and have great reviews! Good luck! :o)
