Amazing

We bought this bike for our son's second birthday. Now, he is three and we have gotten SO much joy and use out of this bike. It has held up wonderfully, despite daily use/abuse. It spends its days muddy and damp on a horse ranch, its nights in the house and it has withstood these conditions remarkably well. This bike will not only see my children through, it will absolutely be kept as an 'heirloom toy' for our grandchildren to use! I was so hesitant to spend the money, but it's well worth it. After direct comparison with other brands, I was happy to splurge on this beautiful piece of form AND function, joined.Editing the review to add the following: My son is now 5.5 and loves that LikeABike as much as ever. He still fits it, weight-wise, but was getting VERY rough with it, jumping and grinding and generally abusing it. I put it away, telling him he was going to break it as he was too heavy. It's now waiting for his 17 month old, 31" tall sister to get tall enough for it, as she is quite willing to try even now, but her inseam just isn't long enough yet. I'm sorry I had to put it away at all, b/c it's a fantastic toy that was still seeing hours of use a day. But, a gung-ho 44 lb 5 yr old on a farm was really abusing it, despite how well-made it is. He still asks for it. I have contemplated buying the larger version for him, but he's now riding a GT 16" bike with 7 gears and hand brakes. He would be SO thrilled with the bigger version and would surely get much use from it, though.(If you need a bike for the very small ones, LikeABike does make a shorter version.)
