5Review By The Inventor Of FlutterBladeTM
By Tim Sturtevant
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1TXE06KOQCY4G Hi, I'm Tim Sturtevant - the inventor of the FlutterBladeTM.When I was a boy back in the 1960's, like pretty much every kid in America, I used to clip baseball cards on my bike forks to get a "revved-up" engine sound. My Dad showed me how to wrap and clip the cards with a clothespin. The sound was really exciting. It would get louder when I sped up and softer when I slowed down making it feel like I had a real engine on my bike. It was a very cool trick that really boosted my enthusiasm for riding but disappointingly the cards usually came apart after just a couple of minutes of riding.Since my childhood riding experiences I've stayed in the saddle and am a life-long cycle racer, broadcast producer, auto/bike mechanic and inventor. Back in August of '07 I was in the same spot my Dad had been in. I wanted to show the kids in my neighborhood how to get a bigger thrill out of their riding. That day I came up with the idea of adapting the baseball card trick to fit today's new bigger diameter cylindrical forks and make them sound louder and last longer. With amazement I watched as the idea turned into a big hit with the boys and girls on my street. Every kid in my neighborhood lined up in my garage that day to get one put on their bike. I knew at that moment that I was onto something unique & appealing for boys and girls. I've been perfecting and improving the idea ever since.I've involved engineering and design experts and over the last three years have worked to create a library of cool designs, test for durability and low spoke resistance(so there's no additional effort when you pedal) and to manufacture a highly consistent product. FlutterBladesTM are now available in high-end independent bike stores up and down the East Coast, the West Coast and now on the web-coast - Amazon.com.FlutterBlade's patented design is simple, durable and flexible. It's made out of strong laminated plastic, fits any sized bike fork, comes in ten cool designs and lasts for 100 hours of continuous riding. They're easy to install and have two positions: 1)Engaged /Sound ON) 2) Disengaged/Sound OFFAs my 9 year old nephew said when he revved up his bike and rode around the block for more than an hour: "Fun is fun and this is fun!" Get your first FlutterBlade here at a low Amazon price and have a great time revving around on your bike this season!Enjoy! TimP.S. All manufacturing is done here in the U.S. of A!Listen to the engine sound and watch your speed climb: Schwinn 17-Function Bike Computer

5Grandson wanted more
By dlw
I originally bought two of these for one of my grandson's bike. He has five bikes and wanted another set for one of his other bikes. I am putting two on the front wheel. Yes, you could use baseball cards like I did when I was a kid but these are more durable and neat for the kids to look at. If you find the installation instructions difficult, just watch their installation video on their website and it will make it easy.

5Great gift!
By Lily
Flutterblades are a great gift and everyone I've ever given them to has loved them! They are unique, fun to use and come in a lot of great designs so they'll appeal to boys and girls and even grown-ups. I've seen riders in the city with them to make sure pedestrians and motorists hear them which is a great way to use Flutterblades as well!Check out the product's website if you need installation tips- there is a great how to video on there as well.
