Avigo 18 Inch girls BMX bike

Was VERY skeptical about buying my granddaughter's first BMX bike online. The reviews on similar BMX bikes, especially Mongoose, a brand I'm very familiar with from when my kids were young. Too many people complained of missing parts and inadequate assembly instructions. This Avigo BMX bike only had one review. Although It was positive, I was still worried about assembly since we're grandparents and no longer interested in self assembly. Nevertheless, I took a leap of faith, figuring I'd bring it to our local bike shop and pay them to assemble it. The price was great for what looked like a terrific girls bike with training wheels. Pleasantly surprised. All the parts were there. The seller had already communicated with me by email. Came home from work to find my son had already assembled it with ease - and toy assembly is NOT his forte! The instructions were easy to follow. It did not come with a kickstand but I guess that's not standard on a bike with training wheels. It's a sturdy, terrific looking bike, very showey with nice features. I love the neon color accents that glow in the dark. Not that a 5 yr. old will be riding in the dark, but hey, she's over-the-moon anyway. Couldn't be more pleased. Great bike, nice seller, good ship time. Thumbs up!!

I was looking for a bike that my daughter wouldn't grow out of super quick. I had a hard time finding a nice one under $200. We're very happy with this bike. Very nice quality.

Bought it for our granddaughter for Christmas. My husband put it together. We were thrilled when we saw her face on Christmas morning. She loves the bike and calls it her "big girl" bike. (We didn't put the training wheels on it. Instead we purchased a kick stand.) I would highly recommend this bike for young girls like my granddaughter - just turning 6.
