4A very good deal, generally.

I had this bike for three days and have put about 7 or 8 hours worth of riding on it (all street). I will start off with the bad parts. The bottom bracket is an American BB that is huge and unsealed (not a deal breaker for me but for you it might be). The grips are terrible, hurts after everything. I will be replacing them with ODI's soon enough. The pedals are fairly cheap, made of nylon. Your best bet is to just pick up plastic pedals as soon as possible. There are no gyro tabs and the factory brakes are horrendous to set up out of the box. The tires are adequate, although I have inflated mine to double the pressure dictated on the sidewall (40psi) without issue. The bike is also fairly heavy, but don't let that discourage you. Now the good parts, this bike is a pretty solid bike that is well worth the price. Compared to an Amber Sanctum (check it on Vein BMX), it has full cromo components and feels just about the same. The top tube length is about 20.8 inches so it is more suited for experienced or taller riders. The hubs are smooth and sealed and the KMC chain is drilled out to reduce weight and so far has been quiet and smooth. The one piece seat combo is plastic and pretty much crap, but for most riders I figure they would just slam their seat and forget about it (I come from the old school so I replaced mine with a fatter seat and a fistful of post). Overall, this is a great bike for beginners or intermediate riders. It is also a great starting point for custom components without blowing up your wallet (or your parent's).
