She loved it!

Got this for a good friend of mine's kid... she absolutely loved it. I really believe in these "scoot" bike type products.... I think they teach kids the balance they need to eventually be skilled bicycle riders. To heck with training wheels, your feet can help you stay up right until you learn the trick of it. And this bike was an adorable color for a tiny sporty princess, AND the real metal frame should help this product last forever. I hear her little brother needs one this year too, cuz he keeps stealing hers...

Hopeful about the bike, but disappointed about the tires!

We received this bike from a site that offers great discounts. Put together the bike with no problem, but were HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED that this bike has PLASTIC TIRES! Hoping my daughter(s) don't slide all over the sidewalk when using this bike! If it turns out to be a great product, I'll come back and give it a higher ranking.

Fun and Easy to Learn

My daughter loves this bike. I was worried if she didn't pick it up she'd get frustrated, but she's pretty much gotten the hang of it and we've only taken it out three times now. The bike is easy to assemble and fairly easy to adjust. I did take one star away b/c we can't figure out how to tighten the handle bars enough that they don't get knocked askew every time she wipes out. It is really annoying to have to realign the handles with the front tire several times an outing. If we can get that fixed, this bike will be darn near perfect for us. Also, to the question about the tires--we haven't had any issue. The sidewalk was wet yesterday when we went out and the tires didn't seem slick at all.
