Extremely poor construction, very hard to pedal

Well, it's a cheap bike and it shows. The front wheel is chronically loose and the rear wheel has a lot of friction. Also, the rear wheel is extremely out of alignment. Unfortunately, this is typical of bikes in this price range. I bought my daughter a Groovy Girls 16" bike a few years back that had the same problems. She dealt with it for two years, but I think this one is going back. The only good thing about it is that it's very easy to assemble, but maybe that's because I've had so much practice over the years.

So/so but not too bad

For a name brand I had expected better, but it's ok for a first bike. The bike arrived with chipped paint and the front brakes didn't even work right, but my kids don't use it anyway and are too young to care. Could be worse but could be much better.

kawasaki mono boys 16-inch bike, black/green

This bike is sturdy, well built, and a great value for the price. We considered many other bikes on-line and at stores. This one was perfect for our 4-year old grandsons birthday. The Kawasaki brand name made it all the more real for his "big boy" bike.I am impressed by the sturdy training wheels that will last as long as it takes for him to transition to a 2-wheeler. And, it wasn't much effort to assemble.
