Perfect fit for the Strider bike

My son could not use the strider bike we gave him for his birthday because he was too tall for it. This longer post saddle was perfect. Not only he can comfortably ride the bike now but the saddle has an extra inch for him to grow.The finish of the saddle was identical to the original one in the Strider bike.

Works great

When we originally bought the Strider bike, we didn't think we would need this for my 4, almost 5 year old. He really struggled with balancing on a normal bike so we thought Strider would be perfect. He wasn't fond of riding it with the shorter seat post. His feet really dragged on the ground. So we ordered the taller seat and it has made a whole world of a difference. Our son is really getting the hang of balancing on the bike, which he couldn't do with the shorter post. If you are getting the Strider bike for an older child, please get the longer seat post!

Works fine

It gives the strider a little extra height which is great for a taller or older child learning. Personally, I believe Strider should just extend the seat that comes with the Strider, instead of making people fork out extra money. Used it one day - son is riding his bike now. Striders are great - just shouldn't have to buy an extra seat!

Bike broken, pieces missing

After looking and looking online, we bought this bike for our daughter's birthday. I was really excited about the huge discount. My husband is extremely good at putting things together, however, the instructions sent with the bike did not match the model we purchased. Pieces on the bike were bent, the Allen key was missing, and several nuts and bolts were loose in the box - not sure what/where they go. To sum things up, absolutely not happy with this purchase - would not recommend.

scratched bike

The bike came with several deep scratches in each part of the frame. There were long scratches in the green parts of both wheels and the white part as well. Also the seat was scuffed as if this bike had been used. It was supposed to be new and I checked before buying as this was a Christmas gift from Santa. It was hard to explain.

nice bike - bad seat

This was a present for my 6 year old who is very tall. The bike is sturdy, albeit a little heavy to my liking. Construction is nice as I would expect from a cruzer. I do have some complaints: first the seat and seat post are not my favorite. They have a tendency to twist and slip even after some serious tightening. Second: very minor but the decals are misplaced. It’s like the machine or person just slapped them on and they are crooked (minor point in know but just lack attention to detail).Overall, my daughter loves it. It was a great price but in the future I will have to consider a new seat to replace the inferior one that it comes with.

Very Pleased

I bought this bike for my 3yr old daughter. She adores it! Its seems to be pretty sturdy and will hold up till she'll need an upgrade. I will say that the training wheels are a bit cheap and will wear out with extended use, but I plan to have her riding solo sooner than later. So i'm not too concerned. The only other thing i'm disappointed about is that I can't find the teal bike for my other little girl who is ready for a bike. We had to get the red one instead. Oh well. Very please otherwise with this bike! Super cute!

I bought this bike and only used it once or twice before the inner tubes of the wheels split open into two inch slits. Both wheels had the same problem, the holes were beyond repair. The pedals fell off in the middle of my ride, so the momentum of the pedals hit my ankle, bruising it badly. The gears can't be switched, either, even though it's a mountain bike. If I could get a refund, I would. Too bad I can't even do that. This brand new bike is even worse than the garbage I find on the streets.
