Although the bike is new there has been an issue with the manufacturer where the handlbar paint was knicked. Please see image #5. It only affect the aesthetics of the bike and not the functionality. Not all of them have these but please assume yours will have it. The bike will get pretty beat up anyways with your child falling and dropping it. Consider placing your favorite sticker over it if it bothers you. We are very sorry.

Jammer balance bike

My 3 year old grandson just loves his new jammer. It was so easy to put together since I only had to put on the seat, handle bars and back wheel. Nothing has slipped or come off so I must have done it right. I was really surprised how sturdy and well built this bike is. I am sure this bike will last him until he out grows it. I would recommend the Jammer bike for anyone.

Excellent bike - excellent customer service

We ordered this bike and a smaller model from Dakota Cycle as last minute gifts right before Christmas, and were very happy with the customer service the company (Tobias) provided. He was very friendly and accommodating, and he made sure we received both the bikes and some extra training wheels we needed in just a couple of days and in time for Christmas.The bikes are both very nice looking and seem like great quality, and our daughters love them!

Disappointed

Although we knew the bike would need putting together, we did not realize it comes with no tools at all including the Allen key it requires. The construction was quite difficult when dealing with the brakes and when all was put together, we realized the front tire had a puncture so our son was unable to use his new bike on Christmas Day. Really quite poor.

This bike is great. My nephew loves it. It was easy to assemble with the exception of all of the different tools needed to assemble and the spokes needed to be tightened one by one and there was no tool included to tighten them. Should have been marked that you needed all of the different tools. Besides that, the bike is great. Great purchase.

Huffy Corporation manufactures mass-market bicycles. It was founded in 1887 when George P. Huffman purchased the Davis Sewing Machine Company and moved the factory to Ohio. The Right Gift At The Right Time.

My little boy is now four years old and it was Christmas and the question was what might I get him? He has an over abundance of toys, I might add. Well, when I take him to playgrounds, we always notice small kids whizzing around on small bikes, some of which have training wheels. My boy has never shown any interest. He has never asked for a bike either. Well, when I was at a nearby Costco store looking over the Christmas Toys displays, there was a Disney-Pixar Cars 16" Bicycle (made by Huffy). It just seemed right. It was spiffy looking. He liked "Cars" stuff. It came with a set of training wheels and a small front container for carrying things. I just knew he'd somehow like it.Well, Christmas day arrived. I had put the bike together the day before. It was easy. A simpleton could do it with just a few household tools! I parked the bike in the living room next to the tree on Christmas Morning. He had already opened most of his presents the night before, I might add. When he saw the bike he looked puzzled. When he realized it was another present for him, he just glowed. Surprisingly, he seemed to know what a bike was and he started to push it back and forth in the living room. We put him on it with the seat in the low position and the bike fit him well. With the raising of the seat (real easy) the bike should last him at lest 2-3 years. The bike is outfitted for caliper brakes and rear reflector, if we feel the need. The coaster brake seems adequate, I might add. The bike seems sturdy and well built, but that's one of those things we'll find out with use. I'm optimistic. It looks like an excellent toy for him.Gary Peterson

Great little f bike

I bought this bike for my son in jan 2009. He's just turning six next month and has finally out grown the bike. He learned how to ride without training wheels on this bike. Maybe 12" wheels aren't ideal to learn, but the seat can go very low and the pedals come off easy. Great for learning to balance on two wheels. The bike is heavy, but it is solid and well built. Great details, like the ferrari flag, carbon fiber looking fender, hand stitched looking bar pad, and a formula one steering wheel display on the handle bars. He put this bike through the ringer and it is still straight and true. Now that we are shopping for a bigger bike, I thought about the 16" version, but its time for something different (and hopefully lighter and easier to hang in the garage).
